Is the sentence correct? Is the following sentence grammatically correct? "If I understood the assignment right, it requires that letters AND digits AND spec chars should be present in the password, all of them, not just any of them." Is the idea of the sentence expressed clearly enough?

Yes, it is clear. It could be improved by replacing "should" with "must" to emphasise that it is obligatory.

I understand it clearly. I'd write "If I understand the assignment correctly, the password needs to contain letters AND digits AND special characters. "

"If I understood the assignment CORRECTLY \ WELL, it requires that letters AND digits AND spec chars should be present in the password, all of them, not just ONE of them."
