*noun* yet *adjective*? can i use yet after a noun and before an adjective? like, "statement yet simple". it feels wrong. i think it's only used like *adjective* yet *adjective*?

I think you're right, you need another adjective, but you can have a noun too: a simple statement, yet confusing. :)
