They are both correct, but mean slightly different things. The first sentence means "do not forget your origins" it might be used to somebody who seems to have moved away from, and almost be in denial of, their original situation. For example somebody who has become rich and famous but who was originally from a non-prestigious background and is now acting as if they had always been from a privileged section of society. The second sentence can be a reminder to pay attention to the place where somebody had come from, or not to forget details about it, even if the person was not in denial about it.
