Глагол жить - A couple of questions Hello! I'm learning to use the verb жить to say where you live. I have researched, and when you use it in combination with на or в to say a location, they say you must use the prepositional case, and so I just look for the right ending for the words. But I have a question about using this verb when you use a combination of the words "street" and the name of the street. Here is an example: I live on Arbat street. How do I translate this? 1. Я живу на улице Арбат. 2. Я живу на улице Арбате. 2. Я живу на Арбат улице. 3. Я живу на Арбате улице. The questions that arise are: Do you say the name of the street before or after the word улице? Do you change the name of the street also, or just the word улица to улице? If you change the name of the street, does it have to do with being in front or after the word "street" (улице)?
