I misspoke. I don't want to cancel the lesson, I want to reschedule. I didn't see where I was able to reject the teacher's suggestion for a new day and time and set my own. The lesson is scheduled for a week from today. This is weird that I cannot simply request a schedule change within the lesson. Also, the lesson had to be rescheduled due to the teacher having technical issues - she does not have an internet connection so messaging her leaves me with wondering if she's even getting my request to reschedule. Very inconvenient.

there is no way to cancel. 24 hours before the lesson, you can propose to change the date. within 24 hours, there is nothing you can do. you did not have to agree to the date changes suggested by the teacher, now you will have to write to the teacher and see if you can come to an arrangement.
