"if" in japanese
こんにちは,
when do I put "もし" at the beginning of a conditional sentence? I've seen many cases without "もし", so I was wondering if there's a certain pattern or system how to use it.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Mike,
もし is not necessary, you can omit it.
For example : もし時間があったら映画館へ行きます = 時間があったら映画館へ行きます。

Hi!
もし can be omitted either ways if you use or express a conditional statement.
Example: "If you have time, let's go to the movies" --> もし時間があったら映画館へ行きましょう。/ Or omit もし:時間があったら映画館へ行きましょう。
