How to correct these sentences? Please, i need ur help~ Facing the choices children's parents make, they may not cherish and even take them for granted. I don't think 'facing' can be used in this way, but i don't know how to help her correct it. And another one: We should thank for our parent's considerate choices for us but make choices and take responsibility for our choices. What is the meaning of this sentence? What did she want to express?I feel so confused. They don't understand their children's interest and the most suitable college for their children. It seems that this sentence is directly translated from Chinese...And it doesn't make sense.

Actually neither of them make sense. I agree about the Chinese translation, too: I have spent many hours correcting English text written by Chinese speakers and often hit sentences like this. I find the only solution is to consider the context and write something plausible that fits; your resulting text might resemble the original, but that seems to be by coincidence.
