What does it mean rack here: "The ship has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought is won"?

"Rack" is a slightly archaic term meaning "strong wind."

The ship has survived all of the storms and we have (1) successfully completed our mission or (2) captured the enemy's ship. (At that time, captured ships were called prizes. Money paid to the crew by their Navy was called prize money.)
