Good question! to remove (v.) = to move or take (something) away from a place to delete (v.) = to remove (something, such as words, pictures, or computer files) from a document, recording, computer, etc. So, as you can see, only the first variant is correct: "removing goods from the cart."

"Removing" can be used with a physical cart, but "deleting" cannot :)
