Does this sentence make sense? “People around the world have images like Samurai, Ninja and so on.” This sentence is written to mention the reason why some people around the world think Japanese don’t laugh very much.

When people around the world think of Japan, they picture Samurai, Ninja and so on. "and so on" is often a lazy way to end and does not tell the reader what you actually mean. By and so on, you mean other people who wear Japanese clothes? also people with black hair? also people in movies? "and so on" might be different for each person. . .... picture capable fighters such as Samurai and ninja. ?

When people from other places think of Japan they only think of Samurai Warriors or fighting Ninjas. They cannot imagine Japanese people laughing.
