What is more correct?
I want to write an article and the title is:
"What I've learned about China after an academic business trip and why I GOT surprised" OR
"What I've learned about China after an academic business trip and why I WAS surprised"

The second one is grammatically correct. Using “to get” to mean “to become” is largely only a spoken English thing.
