GRAMMATICAL CORRECTIONS: It seems the protests will never end. In this case, there could be a shortage. Here's the recruitment of the Hong Kong police: I've made the sentences grammatically correct, however, the last two sentences make little sense to me. A shortage of what? Here's the recruitment...? Usually, "here's" is used to refer to something we can see, but the act of "recruitment" can't readily be seen.
