Is -겠 more commonly used here? So I saw a sentence which was “가겠다는 약속을 하고 말았어요.” and was translated to “I ended up promising to go.” Is it more natural to use 겠 when using 다는 to describe a noun? Could you say “갈 거라는 약속” instead? What would be the difference? So in the end what would be the difference between “하겠다고...” and “할 거라고”
