"Work IN a consulting company" or "work AT a consulting company"?

It sounds more natural to say "work at" (although "work in" is not necessarily wrong). You could also say, " I work for a consulting company."

I think they are both OK, but “work at” is probably more common. But it would not be unusual to hear “I work in a law firm,” “I work in a hospital,” etc.
