Why is 그러다 used in this sentence? The sentence is “전시 해 놓으면 괜히 기분이 뿌듯하고 그랬었거든요.” What grammar is being used at the end with -고 그러다. What does this 그러다 translate too?

The sentence works just as fine just saying " (...) 뿌듯하거든요." The difference is that might sound a bit too assertive. So by saying "뿌듯하고 그랬었거든요" you first of all write it in past tense so it's clear you're talking about your personal, past experience and not asserting that it is always the case for other people too.
