Is it correct to say that something is beneath all criticism? I know there is a phrase "beneath contempt", but it seems a bit stronger to me.

The phrase for criticism is "above criticism" better than = good enough that it cannot be criticised. Contempt is a different word and "beneath contempt" = less than contemptible or worthless or a bad immoral criminal person etc.
