I made a example pls correct it A guy name of Lee has the second wife (The first wife is dead we don’t know when she died . And we are not sure when the guy get the second wife) My q is this Can I use “would have pp” like this below? “Lee would have cheated on her” -> for your details , it is just my guess no one know the truth whether actually he cheated her or met new wife after the first one died Thanks in advance

CORRECTIONS: A guy named Lee is married to his second wife. He may/might/could have cheated on her. Don't use WOULD if you don't know if he cheated on her. WOULD is more definite than the other options.

It's better to say 'we don't know when Lee got re-married and we also don't know whether he would have cheated on his first wife or not.' Hope that helps!
