Is the adjective order correct in the following sentences? And should I use comma in the first one? 1. ... I sat having a cold (,) long drink. 2. I was struck by the peaceful, cool, dark interior.

Generally, the adjective order in English is: Quantity or number. Quality or opinion. Size. Age. Shape. Colour. Proper adjective (often nationality, other place of origin, or material) Purpose or qualifier.
