Can I replace 'as' with 'like' without changing the meaning? It is clear that there is a difference between the way the company views the job and the reality *as* I perceive it.

Hi David, no, you can't substitute like for as in this sentence because their meanings are slightly different. "As" here means "the way" as in: the way I perceive it. "Like" here would mean "similar to" as in: similar to how I perceive it. You can see how they mean different things and change the meaning of the sentence.
