In a video game, I saw this joke.
A NPC said, "There is a joke. Do you know where the hungry clock go? It went back for seconds. Haha."
Even if I tried to understand this joke after searching, I still have no idea of what the point is. Can someone explain this joke easily?

It's a pun. Clocks measure time, in hours, minutes, and seconds. Seconds also has another meaning. If you eat some food, and it's really good, you go back to get a second plate. We call the second plate "seconds". The clock was still hungry, so it went back for seconds.
