Can / could / would / will you do me a favo[u]r? I there any difference in feeling, if not in meaning? Maybe one is more common then the other?

They are all commonly used. However, would and could sound more polite. But I think intonation would be just as important as word choice depending on who you are talking to and how big the favor is.

"Could" and "Would" are the polite ways of asking.
