Hello, Pelin. It's great to see you writing so much. To answer your question, I agree with Joe. "I'm halfway there" is commonly used (also in the United States). "I'm past halfway" would be understood but doesn't sound quite natural.

I’m halfway there makes complete sense. I’m past halfway kind of, people would understand but I think it would be more common to say “I’m over halfway there”, that’s in the UK anyway 🤷‍♂️
