They are about the same. 하여튼 간 is a contraction of 하여튼 간에, where 간 originally means space/distance between two things (like 사이). It often describes having to decide between two choices, nowadays most often used dismissively in phrases like 하여튼 간에, 여하튼 간에, 어쨌든 간에, 좌우 간에 (or 좌우간), all of which means "anyway, anyhow, whatever, etc". 간에 just makes the phrase slightly more emphatic.
