Double-checking: "rechts" oder "Recht" oder "recht"? Want to check that these sentences are correct in the variation of "recht" they use: "That is your right in America." = "Das ist dein Recht im Amerika." (As in voting/gun/abortion rights) "You are right/correct, sir!" = "Du hast recht, Herr!" "It is on the right hand side." = "Es ist auf den rechten Seite." "Go to the right!" = "Geh nach rechts!"

"That is your right in America." = "Das ist dein Recht in Amerika." Wahlrecht, Recht auf Ausbildung (As in voting/gun/abortion rights) "You are right/correct, sir!" = "Da haben Sie recht, (Herr XX)!" "It is on the right hand side." = "Es ist auf der rechten Seite." "Go to the right!" = "Geh nach rechts!"

Da haben Sie recht, (Herr XX)! You can't mix formal and informal. Either you say Herr/Frau XX, or you leave it out. Anyway you use the formal way of expression, whereas in English the verb and 'you' do not change, so you have to use a 'Sir' to make it clear. But just 'Herr' without name is not possible.
