Using an indefinite article before 'difference''' What's the logic behind preferring to use an article in the first sentence? I guess there is some type of 'difference' that we can count. 1) There’s a big difference between knowing that something is true, and being able to prove it. 2) There is very little difference between the parties on green issues.
