The problem here, Laura, is actually your use of the phrasal verb "carried out". It strikes this native English speaker's ear as a bit forced and unnatural. We do not "carry out a categorization". I recommend choosing a different verb, such as "created" or "devised" . I'm also not sure you want to use "comprehensive" to describe Pastor's "categorization" either. It would sound perhaps simpler but cleaner to write "created a more precise system for categorizing phrasemes . . ." Hope that's helpful-- Teacher Charles Harris
