What difference ...for me and ...on me? There is a song I 'M Alive, there are two words of song " When you call for me" and "When you call on me ", I want to know the difference between "for me" and "on me" in it, could anybody give me any answers? To "call for" someone is just the act of getting someone's attention, so probably shouting their name etc. To "call on" someone is wanting someone's affection and support because of being lonely or in need.
