Can I say this? I don't have a salary. I'm paid for the hours I worked. I get wages, based on my hourly rate.

You can use any of the sentences below: * I am paid by the hour. * I am paid for the number of hours I work. * I am an hourly worker, not salaried. EDIT: "I don't have a salary."✓ "I'm paid for the hours I worked." --> "I get paid for the hours worked," (what you are saying here is that you are receiving money for all the hours you spent working, we don't know if you have a fixed 8-hour work schedule or if you worked for 3 hours on Sunday) "I get wages, based on my hourly rate." I wouldn't use the word "wage" since it refers to a fixed payment. Any of the sentences I suggested can replace all three of yours. I hope this helps. Good luck.
