Just the 2nd sentence doesn't sound ok because "want to be know" is similar to "remembered"
Ex He wanted to be known as the best runner in town

Maybe he doesn't want us to know where he is.
She talked about meeting (encountering) some guy met on line
You shouldn't meet (encounter) someone you just met on line
