Be + verb 3 vs. Get + verb 3 I realized that in some cases structure 'be +verb 3' is quite similar to 'get +verb 3'. For instance 'I was given' looks pretty like 'I got given'. Could you please explain if they are the me ; the use of each structure and difference been them?

"I got given" doesn't exist by any stretch of imagination. "get" brings the meaning of "become" in such constructions.

"I was given..." is correct English. However, "I got..." is commonly used. For example, "I got a new pair of shoes from my friend." and "I was given a new pair of shoes from my friend." both work. "I got given.." does not work.
