1. This sunscreen helps protect your skin. 2: OK 3: she is avoidING going to school. Americans never use "to" after "help." I've seen British people use it occasionally, but to me it feels awkward and potentially confusing (to an American, "it helps to think" means "thinking is helpful", NOT "this device makes thinking easier.")
