Which one of them does make sense? # This is what I heard someone said to a convenience-store clerk who were very rude to a elder customer, but I can't seem to tell which one is correct. 1 Why would you be absolutely inconsiderate of other human being, especially whenever you have to be much younger than him. 2 Why would you be absolutely inconsiderate of other human being, especially whenever you happen to be much younger than him.

Hi SImba, neither are correct, mainly because the use of the word "whenever" doesn't make sense here. Since a person is whatever age they are and cannot easily change their age, a person cannot be much younger than someone "whenever". It's more likely that the person said something like this: Why would you be absolutely inconsiderate of another human being, especially when you happen to be much younger than him. Hope that helps.

2 makes more sense but still is grammatically incorrect in parts. Why would you be so inconsiderate of another human being, especially when you happen to be much younger than him? The sentence I have added above is correct.
