指南针是 compass, 指北针叫什么？
指南针和指北针 都是compass， 在英文中怎么区分？

指南针 不就是 指北针吗？不管哪个，指针一头向南，另一头自然就向北了。
还是说我理解有误，二者有什么严格的区别？

指北针也是compass，compass是罗盘，可以指南也可以指北，一般叫指南针

emm,我记得只有指南针，用它来判断往北的方向。只是指南针是以前的表达，没有被正名为指北针而已。。。
