The lowest level for language exchage? Hi all. What is the lowest level of learning language when I can start language exchanging? Somewhere i read it must be at least upper-intermediate but would be better if it is higher. What do you think about that? What is your experience?

At B1 you can do a basic conversation so that level is very doable. A2 is ok as well if you're extroverted a little (not shy), or you pre-plan your meeting a little with some points or topics so that if you get stuck on one topic you can move to another.

In my opinion, A2/B1 is an approximate minimum. At this level, an English learner has about 800-1000 words of vocabulary and mastery of basic past, present, and future tenses. Simple conversations about daily activities is possible. At B1/B2, normal conversations are possible about books, trips, history and other topics.
