What are your techniques for learning French vocabulary? (especially how the words are written) That might be a silly question but I honestly have troubles with writing in French these days. Giving the fact that quite a lot of sounds are not actually pronunced or/and the pronunciation of the different French words can be extremely similar (which does not always help one in developing proper writing skills), I can easily mess up the words and, hence, the meaning of the whole text while writing. Any tips for learning/memorizing the vocabulary?

Have your tried the quiz feature on Reverso? You can set it to test you on words you’ve previously looked up or it can quiz you randomly if you want. Lawless French also has writing exercises that are great. You take quizzes and it assess your weaknesses and then it gives you exercises and quizzes in those areas.
