How newbie is 'newbie'? I've never formally learnt Russian before. The most Russian I've heard is probably from movies. So I can't even say my Russian is bad, it's pretty much nonexistant. I've started learning the cyrillic alphabet that's about as much as I can boast. Is that too newbie to be on here? Thanks

russian is a very intresting language. when you began to learn it, it seemed hard to you, but when you have learned it for some time, you will finad out, that it is not so hard as you thought.

Russian seems to be very hard language, but to be understood by Russians you do not need to know all about Russian grammar) It would be enough to explain something with simple words)

I think that is what a Newbie member should. They basically know nothing about the language but can utter some very, very simple words. It is never late to study. Make a wish and get ready to GO!
