The child in the house.. ▪ The child in the house not knowing what is going on. If I change "not knowing" into "don't know", would there be any change in meaning?

Hi Hasib You wouldn't say 'not knowing' in this sentence, your second option is almost correct though! You are talking about one child and so you would need to change it to: * The child in the house doesn't know what is going on. (Does not) If you are talking about more than one child, you can say: * The children in the house don't know what is going on. (Do not)
