What does " Here we are" mean in this sentence?

I agree with Gilles Chercuite's opinion.
They have just arrived at the winter house. It’s an expression used in many different context to indicate arriving at a place or in a certain situation. In your context it’s a place.
I think it gives an impression that being at their winter house is a normal result of the weather change, so when the weather changes, they go to their winter house. They do it always, it's a reason and a normal result for them.
It just means that they are there at the winter house.
