Please help me to seperate this long sentence into short ones It's better to save your life than to be a casualty or endanger a public safety personnel who need to be protecting others having to go rescue somebody who ends up staying in their home and then that mudslide comes in and crushes them.

[I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to say. Here is an attempt, though. I assumed there was quite a bit of irony here. I also corrected some grammar] It's better to save your life than to be a casualty or to endanger public safety personnel who need to be protecting others. These people need to go rescue somebody else, who will end up staying in their home so they can be there when a mudslide comes in and crushes them.
