the combination "ul" 's pronouncing.
the combination "ul" 's correct pronouncing in group 1:"result,consult,pulse"and group 2"ultraviolet ultimate full pull." diferent?
I hear in group 1, it's pronounced as the sound like " or"
and in group 2, it's sounded like " ou "
so confused.
To stevenr868: As you said "the 'o' sound in the word 'or' " does it pronouncing as the sound of the word "oh" ?

i guess it would depend on if you are learning a British or an American accent. With an American accent they all sound more like the 'o' sound in the word 'or', except for the words that begin with a 'u', they are more like a basic u sound...uuuuuuuuu
