[ 3 ] Is the word "well" used the same way in [ 1 ] and [ 3 ]? Is the word "Good" in [ 2 ] exactly the same as "Very well" in [ 3 ]? =============================== A: "How are you?" B1: "I am well." B2: "I am good." B3: "I am gooding ok." They are all different: "Well, that is a different discussion entirely." == "In that case..." "Good, I will see you tomorrow." == "Excellent /splendid/good/agreed ..." "Very well, I will see you at work." == "OK then ..." A: "How are you?" B1: "I am well." == a good response. B2: "I am good." == also good, but said in a more more colloquial way. B3: "I am gooding ok." == this is not English - it makes no sense at all.
