How do you think it is better to use the word "dislodgement" or "eviction" in the following sentence? building more houses in a certain area without the need for people to leave or lose their property

"Dislodgement", to me, is the freeing of something that was lodged somewhere a boulder, for example, in a hillside. "Displacement" or "relocation" would work better here, I think. There are other, better words but I can't think of them at the moment. I'm sure others will offer you better choices.

Eviction is the most logical word.
