When meet someone I know, I would say:- -你好嗎? (How are you?)/ 你食咗飯未呀? (Have you eaten yet?)/好耐唔見 (long time no see)

When you meet somebody: "How do you do?" or "Pleased to meet you." Pleased to meet you too. Are you from.....? Nice to see you. Long time no see. (I haven't seen you in a while.) What have you been up to? How are things? It's been a while. (It's been a while since I've seen you.) What's new? Not much. (answer to What's new?)

Hello 阿忠 ā zhōng, When you are traveling in a foreign city and need help: "Can you recommend a good restaurant around here?" " How do I get to ......... ( a certain place) from here?" " Do I have to change trains?" "How much is the ticket?" "Is this the only bus station in the city?" " Do you have a schedule I could look at ?" " Are there any buses going to ...... today?" " What time does the Museum open (close) today?"
