I don't mind it one bit. It is easier to ask a dictionary if you just need a word, but I think a lot of people ask about idioms and other phrases that aren't so easy to find / translate.

Depends on the intention of the asker. Some people legitimately don't understand a concept and want to learn. Not everything has a direct translation and not every foreign concept can be explained simply. Also, many dictionaries can be unclear. However, there are some people who aren't interested in learning, but just want people to tell them what something is with no personal attempt. I see this a lot with song lyrics. However, I find it more frustrating when people answer questions by posting links to automatic translation tools, which are an awful place for someone to go to learn, especially with anything bigger than a single word.

yup it's true and it is worth to you as well because when you think about the answer you'll find it and it will lasts for ever in your mind and for me I really like to be asked such questions
