Hi Patricia. An extremely good (and simple to use) work-book is: Gramatica Activa 1 ISBN 978-972-757-172-7 http://www.cial.pt/pt/livros/gramatica-activa-i/flypage.tpl.html Available from Amazon. It is a Lidel publication. All of the Lidel publications seem to be of very high quality. I have several British publications but they are very poor compared to this. It has 50 units. Each unit covers a particular topic on one page followed by 3 different exercises of increasing difficulty on the another. I have also found this site very useful. The recordings are very clear. This link is to the conversation page. http://cvc.instituto-camoes.pt/aprender-portugues/a-falar/guia-de-conversacao.html Bom dia!
