^_^ Yes, the meaning will change slightly. "Most" adds emphasis to the sentence. "most other parts of the world" meaning a majority of the world "other parts of the world" does not indicated whether or not the sentence is only regarding 2 or 3 other places in the world or almost the entire world.

Of course the meaning changes. You've taken out the "most".
