Do Turkish words have gender (male / female / neutral) ?

Turkish doesn’t have gender but there are some exceptions especially the words which are taken from other languages. In these words, to form a feminine word from the masculine, you simply add (-e) to the end of the word. Examples: Müdür (Headmaster-masculin) Müdüre ( Headmaster-feminine) Katip (Clerk-masculin) Katibe (Clerk- feminine)
