Yours sincerely, Your name , surname Position held in company Depending on your personal feelings, you might want to that you have valued your time with the employer, learnt a lot, made friends and enjoyed yourself. it doesn't need a lot of explanation. Depends on how much detail you want to put in. If you want to soften it a bit, explain why you are resigning in more detail. Something simple and formal would be. "Dear Human Resources, I formally tender my resignation effective 20 Feb 2011. Regards, Tuladhar Bishwakarma" A.
