What does "scam" mean? I know what it means, but I want to say that I received 2 friendship request in the past two days. I accepted them. But then one wrote to me saying she wanted me to give her my credit card number to have a place to keep her $6 million inheritance. The other woman seemed suspicious, too. We need to be careful not to be victims of this.

Hi Lynne, what you describe are examples of a "scam", people trying to trick you. Please report them to Italki Administration.

LOL, I get 30 a day of those. Plus some lottery wins. And of course help with all sort of male problems. Plus some that want me to have a cheap Rolex or some crappy LV fakes from China.
