silly question, Vol. 2 I have a little troubles with "if" and "whether" could you please, give to me some examples about their uses? Thank you for your help!!

"If" introduces one condition, whereas "whether" introduces alternative possibilities, usually with "or not" implied or expressed. Read on here: http://grammartips.homestead.com/whether.html BTW, your question is not silly at all.
